Violin, IKUKO KITAKADO
Born in 1979 in Japan. At the age of 3 takes her
first violin lesson, and at the age of 5 played her first solo
concert. At the age of 12 and 14 years won the First Prize in the
“All Japan Student Music Competition”, one of the most important japanese
competitions for young talents.
After her Graduation with the highest qualification from the Tokyo National
University for Fine Arts and Music, from 2003 to 2006 she studied
at the University Mozarteum Salzburg with the Professor I. Ozim, where she
graduated, obtaining the Magister Degree, also with the highest
qualifications.
She took part satisfactory in Master Classes and
Courses given by the Professors Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Zahar Bron,
Wolfgang Marschner and Ruggero Ricci.
Her numerous concerts as a soloist, as chamber musicians and with orchestra
brought her around Austria, Germany, Croatia, Switzerland, Belgium,
France, Italy, Spain and many cities in Japan. She ist also a guest artist at international music festival such as M. Bruch Festival in Sondershausen and Oberndorfer Meisterkonzerte in Oberndorf am Neckar (Germany), Salzburger Schlosskonzerte (Austria), international M. Argerich Festival in Beppu and international Hokuto Music Festival in Yamanashi (Japan). |
